The 60th meeting of the Inter-Organization Coordinating Committee (IOCC) of the IOMC was held 21-22 November 2023, hosted by ILO in Geneva. Mr. Jorge Ocaña (UNITAR) chaired the meeting. The meeting discussed, inter alia, ICCM-5 and the adoption of the Global Framework on Chemicals (GFC), strategic interests of POs and IOMC collectively including coordination issues, the negotiations for a science-policy panel (SPP) and for an international instrument on plastic pollution, the IOMC Toolbox, as well as an update of the work of IOMC mercury group.
