59th Meeting of the Inter-Organization Coordinating Committee (IOCC)

The 59^th meeting of the Inter-Organization Coordinating Committee (IOCC) of the IOMC was held 25-26 April 2023, hosted by WHO in Geneva. Ms. Gabi Eigenmann (UNIDO) chaired the meeting. The meeting discussed, inter alia, SAICM and Beyond 2020, strategic interests of POs and IOMC collectively including coordination issues, the negotiations for a science-policy panel (SPP) and for an international instrument on plastic pollution, the IOMC Toolbox, as well as an update of the work of IOMC mercury group.
